Al Ithbaaq  ><  Al Infitaah

Al Ithbaaq menurut bahasa artinya lengket. Sedangkan menurut istilah adalah pengucapan huruf dalam keadaan bertemunya lidah dengan langit-langit.

Huruf-hurufnya ada 4, yaitu :  shod, dhod, tho, dzo.

Al Infitaah menurut bahasa artinya terpisah. Sedangkan menurut istilah adalah pengucapan huruf disertai dengan menjauhnya lidah dari langit-langit.

Huruf-hurufnya berjumlah 23, yaitu selain huruf-huruf Al Ithbaaq.
